Nicholas Desai, DPM, MBA, FACFAS--Medical Director
Dr. S. Nicholas Desai is a board certified foot surgeon/podiatrist who specializes in all aspects of adult and pediatric foot and ankle disorders and wound care. He shares excellent academic and professional credentials, as well as a genuine commitment to sharing knowledge and experience with both his professional colleagues and his patients.
After graduation from his medical education, he successfully completed his internship and surgical residency training in New York. In 2001, he founded The Foot Centers of Texas. At the Foot Centers of Texas the mission has always been to utilize the emerging technology to deliver advanced patient care with a personal and caring touch.
His long list of professional affiliates include memberships at the local and national levels, including American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, American Diabetes Association, American Society of Podiatric Dermatology. He has co-developed The Diabetic Foot Clinic at The Hermann Hospital Center for Wound Healing and Lymphaedema Management and actively serves as a consultant to different wound care and surgical instrumentation companies. He also serves as Founder and Chairman of The Board for SMP Education Endowment for the Advancement for Congenital & Traumatic Lower Extremity Limb Disorders.
Teaching is a passion for Dr Desai and he currently holds many appointments locally and nationally. He serves as adjunct clincial faculty for The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and The New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He actively works with reseidents and serves as faculty instructor for the St Joseph's Hospital Podiatric Surgery Residency Program and clinical faculty for the West Houston & Kingwood Podiatric Surgery Programs. He is actively involved with residency education with the Memorial Hermann Southwest Family Medicine Residency Program to enhance the development of understanding foot and ankle pathology and treatment for the family medicine residents during their course of training at the prestigous Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital campus.
As a well recognized expert in his field, Dr. Desai has been frequently featured in print and broadcast media. His recent television and print media appearances include CBS, ABC, NBC on segments of new advancements of synthetic skin substitutes for diabetic limb salavage r as well as multiple frequent radio interviews on all aspects of foot and ankle medicine and surgery ranging from pediatrics and sports medicine. He actively travels to lecture locally, nationally and internationally on foot and ankle topics and contributes back to the medical community by authoring multiple medical articles, manuscripts, and texts currently in print.
He is actively sought for civic, local, national speaking engagements, where his goal has always been to advance the care of podiatric foot and ankle medicine and surgery and educating the public about foot and ankle health.

Jason Willis, DPM, AACFAS
After graduating from his medical education at The William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, Dr Willis completed an intense foot and ankle surgical residency program at the prestigious SSM De Paul Medical Center. He focused on all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and has a specific interest in sports medicine, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and diabetic limb salvage. He has an extensive knowledge of sports pathology due to his childhood passion of sports and playing competitive baseball and its impact of the human foot and ankle. Also having a passion for teaching and research, he has actively presented papers surrounding diabetic foot pathology and serves as Clinical Faculty with The St Joseph's Hospital Podiatric Surgery Residency Program. He and his partner Dr Desai are currently conducting research triasl in collaboration with other sites in diabetic foot wound and limb salvage management arena.
Dr Willis' mission is to use his knowledge to keep patients of all ages walking pain free. He believes that exploring all options both surgical and non surgical approaches to helping people restore foot health.
